Whole blood: 5 mL (min. 0.5 mL) in sodium heparin or EDTA

Specimen Stability

Specimen stable for 48 hours at 4°C

Storage & Handling

Ship with ice pack. Protect from extreme temperature. Separate ice pack from specimen.

Causes for Rejections

Specimen >48 hours old prior to testing; Specimens stored at incorrect temperature; Non-viable specimens; Specimens in inappropriate anticoagulant; Too few cells; Excessive hemolysis; Specimen clotted
